First Buttercream Roses

 Around the end of November 2013 (when I tried fondant flowers) I took a first go at Buttercream Roses. This is how they turned out.

 







 

First Fondant Flowers (without cutters or molds)

In November of 2013, I took a leap of faith and tried fondant flowers without shapes or molds. This is how my FIRST attempt at fondant flowers turned out.

First Fondant Cake

Back in October of 2013 for the first time, I attempted to go all out on a cake. I made homemade fondant for the first time, homemade buttercream frosting and of course CAKE! This cake is a two layer cake filled with buttercream frosting and has Star Wars designs on it. I know I have " bags" under my eyes but it was late. My Parents no longer help me with cooking and baking, but I guess sometimes I need help. No one in my family is a professional chef or baker and look what I did without tips from a professional.

P.S. I have owned a chef coat since I was 3 or 4.

Hi Everyone,

          I am ten years old and this is a blog about my adventures in the kitchen. I am not just any ordinary kid, I make incredible edible creations with my hands. I have been helping my mom cook since I was a toddler, by the age of 6 or 7, I was making things on my own, with the supervision of my parents. The kitchen is one of my favorite places in a house. I also play the Cello, love performing Magic, love School, and love Acting!
