Neighbors Cake

I FINALLY had a chance to bake something! My across-the-street neighbors hired me to make them a cake. It was both of their 70 birthdays, and they were celebrating over 7 days! The cake was one of the Wednesday "event".

A consultation was done.

* It was the first "out-of-family" cake I've ever done!

The cake was started on July 21, 2014 and finished on July 22, 2014

Here are the cake's details...

6" Round
2 Layer
1 Layer Chocolate
1 Layer Vanilla
Filled with Cream Cheese Icing and Raspberry Reduction
Covered in White Fondant
A strip of Black Fondant around the middle of the side
2 Chocolate "S&C"s
Edible Gumball Pearls atop the Black Fondant
Top and Bottom Shell Birders
With a red buttercream rose atop the center of the cake

It took 6 hours and  46 minutes
