Easter Cake

Hey Everyone! Sorry I have not posted since WOW, LAST YEAR! I got busy with school and other things, but now I'm on Summer Break and have time to post! I'll try to update at least once a month. Well that's that. Now onto the cake. Being the baker that I am, I want to bake something for every occasion. Easter was an amazing opportunity for me to design and bake a cake.

Specifics:
- 8 inch round cake
- Vanilla Cake filled with Lemon Curd, iced with a Lemon Buttercream
- Various Easter Decorations
- 3 layers

One of the coolest parts of this cake was the chocolate eggs because of the way that I made them. First, I tried to grease plastic easter eggs and pour chocolate in that way. Unfortunately, it didn't work, so I desided to hollow out, and wash two real eggs through a small hole that I made in the bottom of the real eggs. I poured chocolate in the real egg, then swirled it around. To get the egg out, I just peeled the shell away to reveal the hollow chocolate eggs. I then filled them with M&Ms and placed them on the top of the cake.

Now for the process of the whole cake:
